Start with a clean sheet that matches the current workspace schema.

One CSV now covers companies, contacts, opportunities, and activities. Set RecordType on each row to tell NitroFlow which records to import.

How rows are interpreted

RecordType must be companies, contacts, opportunities, or activities.
Company relationships: Contacts, opportunities, and activities match existing companies via CompanyId (recommended) or an exact CompanyName.
ExternalId columns are optional identifiers you control—use them to map rows back to your CRM and to update records without NitroFlow IDs.
Record keys: Every entity has an Id. Include it (or an ExternalId) when you want to update an existing row; leave blank to create a new row and NitroFlow will generate the Id.
OwnerId expects a member’s workspace UUID (grab it from the team export). Leave blank to keep the current owner or default to the user who runs the import. You can assign different owners per row.

About ID columns

Templates still show columns like Id, CompanyId, and OwnerId, but most teams leave them blank. NitroFlow fills them in for new records automatically.

If you need to update existing records, export the data first and copy the IDs directly—never make up or edit the values by hand.

Contacts must include either a CompanyId or a CompanyName that matches an existing account. Rows without a valid company are skipped.

The animated wizard you see inside Territories now powers the Workspace Admin experience too. Launch it to map headers, validate every row, resolve duplicates, and push multi-entity uploads with polished NitroFlow visuals.

Only CSV files generated from the NitroFlow CSV import template are accepted. Max 2,000 rows per upload. Use the RecordType column to mix companies, contacts, opportunities, and activities in one file.

Import safety

Leave ID columns blank unless you are intentionally updating existing records. When left empty, NitroFlow assigns the correct keys and links the records for you.

Supplying an ID that does not belong to your workspace will block the upload, so copy IDs from an export if you need them.

When importing contacts, pair every person with the company they belong to—NitroFlow now rejects orphaned contacts to keep rosters accurate.
